Daywork (“the app”) is operated by Premier Staffing Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”), a yacht-crew staffing company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your choices are.
What we collect
- Account details — email address, name, phone number, and the role you choose (crew or captain), collected when you sign up. Your phone number is private: it is never shown to other users, and is used only for account and support purposes by the operator.
- Profile information you provide — headline, home marina, city, certifications you list (e.g. STCW, ENG1), and, for captains, vessel details.
- Marketplace activity — dayworks you post or apply to, bookings, completed dayworks, ratings and reviews you give or receive.
- Messages — chats between crew and captains are stored so both parties can see their conversation history.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or browsing history, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
How we use it
- To run the marketplace: showing dayworks, connecting crew with captains, bookings, chat, and reputation (ratings, completed dayworks).
- To keep the community safe: reviewing reports of abusive behavior.
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (hosted on AWS, United States). Access is restricted by row-level security: other users only see what the app shows them (e.g. captains see profiles of crew who apply to their dayworks).
Your choices
- Edit — you can edit your profile and certifications in the app at any time.
- Delete — you can permanently delete your account from your Profile tab (Profile → Delete account). This removes your account, profile, posts, applications, messages, and certifications.
- Report / block — you can report or block another user from any chat.
